The Rundown Clubhouse

Community Guidelines for Useful Baseball Conversations.

Help people understand the situation, protect young players, disagree without attacking, and leave the next family with something practical.

Give context

Tell us enough to understand the decision.

Include age, current level, general region when relevant, the options being considered, and the specific question you want answered.

Protect minors

Do not post identifying private information.

Avoid full names, schedules, contact information, medical records, school details, or content that could permanently label a young player.

Discuss patterns

Describe behavior without running a public trial.

Focus on what happened, what was communicated, and what options remain. Do not organize harassment or personal attacks.

Be honest

Experience is useful when it is labeled as experience.

Do not present rumors as facts, manufacture credentials, impersonate a coach or organization, or promise scholarships and professional outcomes.

Safety

Health questions require professional judgment.

The community can share general education and questions to ask, but cannot diagnose an injury or clear a player to return.

Commercial posts

Disclose your connection.

Coaches, trainers, teams, facilities, and brands should identify their relationship when recommending a service or opportunity.
